David Arendt is a Partner of The Directors’ Office, the leading practice of independent Directors in Luxembourg, which he joined in May 2017.
David, whose career spans nearly 40 years, has worked in Europe and the US in law, finance and business. Most recently he was Managing Director of Le Freeport Luxembourg, a high tech/highly secure facility for storing valuable goods and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Cargolux, the all-cargo carrier based in Luxembourg. He has extensive experience in the fields of law, IT, corporate control, corporate finance, project management, budgeting, long term planning and administration.
David’s career started in Law with the leading Luxembourg law firm Arendt & Medernach and he was a member of the Luxembourg and New York bars. David is a well-known figure in Luxembourg and internationally in the business (including aviation and logistics), art and financial industries. In parallel to his activity of independent director, David acts as consultant and project manager on real estate, logistics and academic projects. He is the principal and Managing Director of Arendt Capital Sàrl, a company he created in January 2017.
Guido Peiffer is member of the Board of Directors at INTENSUM Group SA, an independent European Consulting Agency founded in Luxembourg in 2005 and a recognized SAP Partner, delivering senior expertise on Financial Supply Chain Management, SAP S4 HANA Simple Finance & Treasury processes and offering Business Analytics & Planning solutions for large corporates.
Guido is also Partner of UPPING founded in 2013, a company which helps organizations in building, structuring and delivering Learning solutions in financial management, corporate and public accounting, business control, economics, internal control and risk management.
He also delivers several courses as Lecturer in Business Management Schools as well as coordinating one of the bachelor program.
His main previous positions include more than 10 years as CFO of ENGIE FABRICOM and subsidiaries, and several Director Mandates in Belgian and international companies as well as CEO of ENGIE Cofely Fleet. He also held more than 15 year’s experience in international Financial Management positions at AT&T, Volkswagen or JP Morgan Bank-Euroclear.
Marie-Christine Lambin started her financial career in 1986 as investment advisor for High Net Worth Individuals and have since played a major role in the development of portfolio management with major international banks like, ING, BGL and Safra group in Luxembourg. In 2007, she joined a family office in Geneva to take the role of Chief Investment Strategist as well as manager of several equity and global allocation funds. In 2013, she launched the MC Bolero Global Allocation fund, with the aim to bring a solution to investors who want to capture opportunities in a variety of market environments with a moderate level of risk. She manages the fund with an independent and flexible approach according to her view on the markets, asset valuations and return expectations with the aim to ensure the optimal asset allocation according to the economic cycle and financial market conditions.

Patrick is Deloitte Luxembourg’s Technology & Innovation Leader. He joined Deloitte as Partner in 2011 and was promoted to the firm’s Executive Committee in 2018. Patrick specializes in IT Strategy, Enterprise Architecture, Business and Digital transformation. Throughout his career, Patrick has had the opportunity to implement new banking operating models and deliver large transformation programs. Over the past years, Patrick has acquired in-depth expertise in FinTech and Blockchain, and developed and explored different use cases.
